Planning a special celebration or meaningful get-together? Kat’s is a great fit for private gatherings of up to about 50 guests, including birthdays, graduations, holy communions, retirement parties, baby showers, family meals, and any celebration where good food matters. We can also accommodate larger groups or catering requests.
We’ll help you think through the food, guest count, timing, and setup. Choose from Kat’s menu favorites, buffet-style options, custom ideas, or a mix of Polish-Slavic, European, Coal Region, and American comfort-food favorites.
Holiday meals with heart, heritage, and real food
Kat’s occasionally hosts special holiday meals and seasonal dining experiences, from Thanksgiving comfort plates to Christmas Eve, Valentine’s dinners, Mother’s Day meals, and other memorable occasions.
Kat’s does not currently run a weekly event calendar. Instead, we host private gatherings, holiday meals, chef-led dinners, live music nights, and special experiences that we announce in advance.

Some of Kat’s most memorable moments happen around a special menu, a ticketed dinner, a chef-led experience, or a live-music evening. These gatherings are not everyday restaurant service—they’re limited experiences built around food, atmosphere, and good company.
When a new special experience is planned, Kat’s will announce it through the website, email/text updates, and social channels.
A memorable meal with a side of local history
Kat’s is also home to a small local-history experience. While you dine, take a look at historical photos and artifacts from Minersville and the Anthracite Coal Region of Schuylkill County, including items displayed with help from the Minersville Historical Society.
It’s another reason to visit, linger, talk, and bring family or out-of-town guests for a meal rooted in Minersville history and Coal Region heritage.
